BRAD hosted two exciting 2014 fall events!

BRAD hosted two exciting 2014 fall events!
On October 4th BRAD hosted the “Fall Frolic Bonfire” at Steven Ripple and Henry Cook’s residence in Johnstown. It was a chilly night but a perfect October evening for a bonfire. A German buffet was provided inside a barn for the 24 guests. The buffet includes brats, hot dogs, hot German potatoes and vegetables. For dessert we had apple pie, pumpkin pie and Bonnie Sandy’s rice krispies with hot apple cider. After a delicious meal, many of us sat around the bonfire to have some s’mores. The bonfire kept us warm and relax throughout the night. We all really enjoyed the evening! Our 50/50 winner was Perry Mott! Many thanks to Perry for donating 50% of his winnings to BRAD! We had some door prizes winners. They are Henry Cook, Sandy Bragg, David Pirc, Lyndy Stephens and Davina Sandy. Congratulation to all the lucky winners! Many thanks to Steven Ripple and Henry Cook for allowing BRAD to host this wonderful event at their barn.

Our second event was for members only “Thanksgiving Dinner” on November 15th at Ellen Kaitz’s clubhouse in Pickerington. We had a wonderful turnout of 29 members! Everyone brought their favorite side dish to go along with the turkey that BRAD provided. We had many homemade dishes such as mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, mashed cauliflower, noodles with chicken, green beans casserole, corn casserole and many more. For dessert we had pumpkin pie, pecan pie and pumpkin roll. Everything tastes DELICIOUS!! Thanks to everyone for their time to make their favorite dishes to share. We were STUFFED!!!! Much appreciation for those who brought a non-perishable item to be donated to a needy family during the holiday season. Thanks to Dawn Watts who will present it to a needy family for BRAD. We know they will be DELIGHTED! Thanks to Steven Ripple, Marie Potts, Bob Donaldson and Perry Mott for giving the Social Committee a helping hand in the kitchen. And last, many thanks to Ellen Kaitz for allowing us to use the wonderful clubhouse! She was a OUTSTANDING hostess!
The BRAD Social Committee wishes you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!
The most wonderful time of the year has arrived! Christmastime is near! Enjoy the holiday season! Please stay safe and warm during the winter season. We wish you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2015 be a great year for all of us!
